You peeked because you were! I caught you! Well, I posed the question to a mod and found out that moderators are needed right here and now on MDC. To quote abimommy:

In the future I am not sure how we will be doing the DDCs as far as moderation goes but there are still plenty of forums. "

I know there are many of you who would like to feel as if you are accomplishing something more than just working, cleaning, childrearing, etc...I know I do! So I have officially volunteered. Don't know if I will make it but check out the Questions and Suggestions section under the thread "DDC Moved Elsewhere" to see the full conversation....

Being a mod is really cool and the other mods & admin are wonderful people! I modded The Case Against Circumcision for a while, and it's a labor of love. Just be aware that it can take up a LOT of your time. A LOT. Discussing board issues, writing PMs to members, pulling and fixing threads- it can take hours sometimes, which for me might be doable if I just had an infant who slept a lot and we could just NAK for a large portion of the day? But I don't know how moms of older kids do it. I couldn't do it and homeschool too, so I had to quit and I still feel badly about that. They are amazing.
