I need to strip my entire stash of prefolds, 7 dozen. They smell like bad sushi whenever my babies wet them. We have hard water so i ordered some RLR but now I have no idea what I'm doing, lol!
Can anyone give me a crash course in stripping diapers using RLR? How many prefolds should I strip at a time? How many rinses should I do? How much regular detergent should I add? Should I add salt to the water softener before I strip them? The last time I added it was like 9 days ago, I think... Should I wash or boil them first and then do the RLR? I'm such a novice!
If it helps, I have an LG (crappy) front loader, our hot water is set to 120 and I normally use Country Save with 1/4 white vinegar per wash.
