Cooking a ham? How to tell if done (without a meat thermometer?)?

I have never cooked a ham before, and have a just-under 7 lbs bone-in ready-to-cook smoked ham.

I found some directions online that indicated to cook the covered ham for 25 minutes per pound.

I do not have a meat thermometer -- how can I tell if it is done?

For just under 7 lbs you would cook it for just under 3 hours at that temp. I never use a meat thermometer, and if it's smoked then it's already cooked and you're just heating it up, really.
