labor/birth affirmations?

I know Hypnobabies has a birth affirmations CD... does anyone know of anything else that's similar? I used Hypnobabies last time, and have not been doing the study this time, but want affirmations to listen to during labor. I may order the Hypnobabies CD anyway, but wondered what else is out there... Thanks!

What a great idea for a thread!

I don't have any cd resource to add. With dd I just kept saying, "this is natural; this is exactly what it should be right now; we are made to do this" and it really helped me feel strong and prepared.

Yes! Last time I just listened to the CD on repeat the entire labor. I was totally calm throughout.

I was thinking as I wrote the post that I could record my own... but then wondered if I wouldn't get sick of hearing my own voice.

I actually just came across a really cool site with lots of different affirmations:

It would be fun to do a project where everyone records one track. Kinda like the birth beads thing? I don't know, that might be a lot of work unless we could somehow host the mp3s online for us to download. Any ideas?
