I am not sure where to put this. When I was getting my period back with dd1 (18 months pp) I had a terrible month before it came back. I caught everything that came my way, even though it was summer. My thyroid was swollen, I had swollen glands but all my blood work (including thyroid) were normal. I got my period back, got pregnant and everything returned to normal.
Fast forward, my twins are almost 17 months (still nursing round the clock). I know af is on its way. I am getting infections easily (ear infection and mastitits in one week). My face is on fire but I am cold. My boobs are so sore I don't want to wear a shirt. I am sore and achy and I feel absolutely terrible. I also had yest infections 2 months in a row. I have only gotten them while pregnant. No I am not pregnant they tested me at the hospital when I went for the ear infection. I am almost positive this is hormone issues. I know I can go to the dr. and get my levels checked but what will they suggest 'birth control pill' Thats an absolute no I will not take them. So is there anything I can naturally do to balance my hormones out. I feel so terrible. Now I know why women complain about menopause. My mom had a terrible time and had to go on estrogen (which could have contributed to her cancer ) so can anyone give me some advice.
