Almost every night, DD crawls over to DH and tries to play with him. She'll start pinching his face or crawling over him. Anything I can do? Sometimes I catch her in time, but usually DH will have to wake me up and I'll flip her to the other side to nurse her back down. I'm also getting worried that she'll pull up on the sidecar crib and tumble over the side.

I think that's adoreable. It just reinforces my belief that Mamas are for food and sleep and comfort, and Daddys are for FUN!
But that is a tough one. The only thing I can think to do is put her in a light weight sleep bag, with the hope that it might slow her crawling or inhibit the pulling up. So far we've only had one near escape from the bed at night (DD is 10 mos.), but it was scary. I woke up holding DD by the leg as she struggled to throw herself off of the bed...

DS was waking DH by rolling around and thrashing in his sleep when we had him in the middle. I was worried he was going to say no more cosleeping, so I bought a toddler bed rail (30 bucks on Amazon) and put that on one side, plus some other fall-blockers, and put myself in the middle. Now he only bumps into me, and let's face it, mamas are hardier that daddies!
Another idea is to put your mattress directly on the floor on a rug or softer surface so that if LO does roll or fall off, there will not be much of a distance and she will not get hurt.

It really is cute. DH goes, "Well hello there."
The sleep bag might just make her angry. She hates covers and likes to put her top leg up on my hip when she's nursing. I might end up trying it though. Bed on the floor won't work because we have a big frame and no where to store it.
After thinking about it today, my first idea was to try and stay awake after each nursing to move her back to the outside. That probably won't happen, so second idea is nursing with her in the middle to start and move her to the crib side when we come to bed, then nurse there while DH is in bed, and back to the middle when he's gone to work.
To deal with the pulling up on the crib problem, I'll start with trying to move her into sidecar after she's asleep and if that goes well, lower the crib mattress. Or maybe I'll put a bell on her.
Luke's mama, is the toddler bed lower than your bed? How do you get him down there?
