Kefir quesiton?

Thread Starter
Can I make water Kefir from milk kefir grains ? I thought I had read a post about someone saying they made juice kefir with them.

I would like to make some but didn't know if I could or not.

Thanks

Not sure about water kefir, but you can make juice kefir with milk kefir grains. Use 1:1 juice and water, plus milk kefir grains. The grains won't (usually) reproduce but you'll get about 6 batches of delicious juice kefir. (I found it started to taste yeasty after about 6 batches.)

***Keep 1/2 of your original grains as back up***!

The juice must be 100%, no additives.
