Help! Electronic Games for an 11 year old (xposted in Childhood Years)

One of the families in our neighborhood organizes the neighbors in sponsoring a family or two through St. Vincent De Paul for the holidays.

We've been given the name of an 11 year old girl who's asked for clothes and an "electronic game".

Can someone enlighten me as to what an electronic game for an 11 year old would be? The amount per family member is supposed to be under $30, so it obviously can't be a Nintendo DS or something like that, and after that I'm clueless since we don't do handheld games (we do computer games).

I think a kid deserves a 'toy' on Christmas, so I'd like to be able to get both a nice shirt or pants from Old Navy and a small electronic game, if at all possible.

My daughter likes simon and bop it, which are fun, but only for so long. There are lots of small handheld games like solitaire, yahtzee, etc... that would probably grab her attention longer. My 10 year old plays mine.

last year at target I got ms pac man and a scooby doo game that plug straight into the television, and play like an old video game. They were fun and around$15. (batteries required)

She may already have something to play the game on... but no money for games.

Check with the volunteer group running the collections. They may know more.
