Leaking milk out his nose!

When I nurse lying down, my son leaks milk out his nose. It used to just be when he lay on the left, but now it's both sides!

It doesn't really seem to bother him, just makes him all snuffly, but I'm worried it might be a problem? Nothing seems to bother him when there's boob available :P

Has this happened to anyone else, and is there something I can do? I don't think it's because of my fast let down, because it usually happens about half way through the nurse session, not at the beginning.

I don't know the reasoning, but one of my son's did that for a little while too!

My ds does that on occasion as well. I just let it go since it doesn't seem to bother him.

Mine too!!! It must be fairly usual.

My daughter did that when she was tiny, but grew out of it by around 2 months I think.

Mine did that occasionally while he was small. It stopped on it's own as he got older.

Wow, we've never had this happen, but I must say, the title caught my attention with a smile!

Mine has had spit up come out his nose before. It really freaked me out at first, but I realized that the nose and mouth are all connected. He could just breathe at the wrong moment and have the milk go up his nose.

Yep. DD leaked out her nose until about 3 or 4 months.
