There are other very nice shows out there though for that age it is more difficult. I'd consider Kipper for sure. Elmo/Sesame Street can get kids a bit hyped up, while Kipper is more calming. We also love Pingu like the pp. Both are available on DVD.

So far I've ordered Little Bear (love how gentle and calm it is), Pokoyo and Elmo for emergencies. Oh, and I plan to download some episodes of Blues Clues. I'll look into Kipper and Pingu - thanks everyone!

Elmo is catchy for the younger ones but DD loves George as well.

Curious George is to advanced and slow moving for a 15 month old IMO. My dd will watch it but only because there's a dog in it and she's obsessed with dogs and sometimes with monkeys.

I vote for Kipper and Pingu

But see if you can watch Kipper on youtube first, it might boring to a 15mo.
