Some wool qustions...

I'm a newcomer here and I have some questions about wool. I'm due with my first babe in a couple of months and am in the throes of my nesting phase.. wanting to stock up on everything i'm going to need. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated!

-What are your favorite wool covers? I love the Aristocrat, but wanted to hear feedback before I actually order any. I've been given some Stacinators and Little Beetles covers, but obviously haven't tried any of them out yet. I'd love to hear people's favorite brands and why.

-What do you think is the best thing to go under the wool cover? I am thinking i'll use prefolds, but am open to people's thoughts on the best combos.

-Are snappis what you use on the diaper itself? Is there a problem using those with wool covers?

-For the first lanolization, I've read it's best to use solid as opposed to liquid lanolin. Any thoughts? If so, do I need to get a solid and then a liquid for later?

-What lanolin do you recommend? Do you have an affordable place where you get it?

-What wool wash is your favorite? Where have you found it for the best price?

-Anything else you think I should know? Anything I should have on hand before the babe arrives?

I am due in a couple of months, but I'll answer the questions I can without actually having the baby here!

-What are your favorite wool covers?Just for cuteness and how soft, etc, I like Aristocrat too, and Disana. Both are so snuggly in the babe's diaper drawer that I just want to sleep with them-especially the Disana. (Can get at greenmountaindiapers). I also like the wool longies you can buy or make yourself if you know how to knit or crochet. I made 2 shorties and 1 pair of longies so far-and the longies are cute and serve as the baby's pants.

-Are snappis what you use on the diaper itself? Is there a problem using those with wool covers? Yep, snappies to hold the prefold together (or pins) and under the wool cover. No problem, apparently.

-What lanolin do you recommend? Do you have an affordable place where you get it? I'm planning on using lasinoh--it's a tube you can buy at any Target, Wal-mart, Babies R Us in the breastfeeding supplies. You can use it as a breast cream, lanolin for diapers, and I hear some people use it as a diaper creme-really a jack of all trades!

-Anything else you think I should know? Anything I should have on hand before the babe arrives? I will be waiting to hear the responses to this Q too!
