wetbag help

Thread Starter
I've got a pail liner I like. I got a Bummis wetbag, and it works pretty well for the dirty dipe when we're out. But I'm looking for something that's actually waterproof to keep wet wipes in, so I can use my cloth wipes when we're out. AND, we'll be moving in a few months, so I'm looking for a bag that I can use as a "diaper pail" while we're staying in a hotel. I've seen several, but they seem to stay open when you hang them up. Any suggestions for something that will actually keep a couple days worth of diapers from stinking up our living area ?

I have several bags from here http://www.clothdiapersuperstore.com/category_s/170.htm

they come in all different sizes. I have a really small one that I use for prewet (not dripping wet just damp) wipes & another MUCH larger one (her xl) that I use when we are traveling for more than a day. I use the medium sized one for the diaper bag.

Try the Happy Tushies wet bags for another diaper pail bag or a small one for wipes. Another idea for wipes is a Lunapad travel pouch.

I just saw this cute Planet Wise wipes bag while browsing yesterday:

Or something like this mini wet bag:

I just love the Planet Wise designs!

You need wet bags!! - a mini one with a zipper and a big one with a zipper and hanger loop for the diaper pail.

I have three: a Planet Wise, a Leslie's Boutique (from the clothdiapersuperstore link in junipervt's post), and a Wet Happened? from Two Little Whales.

Overall I recommend the Leslie's Boutique bags.

The Planet Wise has thinner PUL than the other two and is therefore slightly less stinkproof. In addition, the zipper is oriented the wrong way (meaning you need two hands to open it when it's hanging from the loop - but you have a dirty diaper in your other hand).

The Wet Happened doesn't have a hanger loop.

The Leslie's Boutique bags run small but as long as you take that into account (you'll need the biggest one for a hanging diaper pail at home) I think they're the best ones.

You can see more wetbag reviews on diaperpin.

I'm cheap so I bought a few "waterproof allerrgy proof pillowcase protectors" from walmart, basically a zip-up pillowcase for around $3... works great though admittedly not nearly as cute as regular wet bags!!
