when 21-month-old DD says, "poop!" and her pants are still dry, that means she needs to go now. NOT after I wipe breakfast off her hands and face.

I feel so bad because she actually told me BEFORE she needed to go (usually she tells me as she's going, for pee I mean, she always tells me before for poop), and I decided to wipe her hands first, so then she peed in her pants. All the poop still went in the potty, though.

Just had to share!

Hi Lisa- That is so funny! I thought about posting something along those lines, because something similar happened here a couple of nights ago!!! I think when she said "poo poo" she was already pooping, maybe not, I'm not sure because I decided I could rinse out my glass and check e-mail (I think that's what I did? Did I really check e-mail when she said poop????)- anyway, it was a mess.

That's cool that she told you ahead of time!!!
