healing our children

So I'm currently reading Healing our Children by Ramiel....can't remember his last name right now lol. He talks so much about eating raw meats, especially organ parts. I can't imagine eating them let alone raw!!!! I'm really trying to keep an open mind with his recommendations because there is so much evidence that it's healthy. Here are my questions

Would freeze dried organs work just as well?
What about chicken liver?

How many of you ladies eat the organs? And when you eat liver do you really notice a difference in the way you feel?

I know I've heard of breaking off pill size pieces of frozen liver and swallowing it that way. That I could probably do. It's really the smell of liver that makes me want to gag.

Nagel is his last name.
I am not down with eating raw organ meats (not that I don't think it's good for you). But we do try hard to eat some organ meats around here.
Chicken liver is good. I use this pate recipe and dd loves it:

I also puree 2-4 oz beef liver in the blender and add it to meatloaf, meatballs, etc. I tried more but DH complained. I order liverwurst and braunsweiger from US Wellness and dd likes that, too. I don't really like it but I choke it down. Actually, I would like it if I could smother it with mayo on a slice of pumpernickel topped with sprouts and tomato slices but we're gf and egg free so that ain't happening. I think popping liver "pills" is a great idea IF you have the stomach acid for it, or maybe pop some HCL at the same time.
I don't notice any difference in the way I feel but I think that's 'cause I'm really messed up.

do you like the book? i'm very tempted to buy it, but then wonder if it really offers anything new for me, iykwim? how much in it is different from nutrition and physical degeneration or nourishing traditions?

as for the raw organs, i have taken dr. ron's freeze dried liver and i did feel a difference in my energy level with that. i have now switched to taking the frozer liver 'pills' because they're so much cheaper. for me the difference in my energy level is totally worth it. after taking the liver daily for 6+ months, i stopped. over the following 2 months my energy level just got lower and lower. i found myself spending hte afternoon on the couch knitting, not even thinking about dinner until 5pm. i am now taking it again, it's a lifesaver. i find the liver starts helping quickly, and the effect builds if you continue taking it.
