Hi ladies! Here's our new addition, Grayson Marshall, born 12/3 at 9lbs. 6 oz and 21.75 in long. We delivered at a hospital with midwives ). He was 13 days late, but we avoided induction and most other interventions. The attending OB talked us into an epidural because they were worried his shoulders might get stuck and they'd have to do painful manipulation to get him out. But it was only in place for a couple hours, then he flew out in 3 pushes! Dystocia, my foot!!! Annoying OB. Anyway, he had meconium, but no issues from it. We were told they were too busy to do Baby's Bonus, where the baby never leaves your side, but we refused to let him go, and it wasn't a problem. I Wanted to get the hell out of the hospital, and told every person that entered our room that we wanted "early" discharge 24 hrs after delivery. Kind of a hassle, but we did it! Went to L&D at 11am Th, got discharged 11pm Friday, woohoo!!
