Please keep in mind, I can function on very little sleep. I had two kids that woke every two hours together for 18 months. I am no stranger to very little sleep.

She was a great night time sleeper at birth and for awhile after... then things just slowly started declining downhill. Wednesday night I got less than three hours of sleep. Last night I got 35 minutes.

When she is awake, she is AWAKE. She is screaming unless I am holding her and out of bed. She's fine if those two things are done, just AWAKE. Last night I gave up, put her in a sling an bounced on the yoga ball on and off for about 6 hours. My other two kids got up 45 minutes after I finally got her to sleep and I fell asleep.

I cannot wake her during the day. I've tried all the tricks... the undressing, the baths, all of that. Doesn't work, she just goes right back to sleep. She nurses every 2-3 hours during the day - sleeping through the second half of the feedings. I can even lay her down awake and she will go to sleep on her own. (Which would be WONDERFUL if it was the middle of the night!) at night she is awake for LONG periods of time and only nurses every 4 hours or so and gets mad if I try to offer and she's not interested.

I have two other small children to take care of - I CAN NOT function on 30 minutes of sleep.

Does anyone know anything I can do to get her to switch her days and nights? I'm so sleep deprived that I can't even hold a conversation with DH without ending up in tears.
