Teething or a cold?

I already posted about my DS having a fever only in the late afternoon and evening - getting as high as 103F. The pedi gave him a clean bill of health. He seems congested to me and in fact, has bloody boogers. He's acted totally normal in the day until about 4pm when he gets fussy, lethargic and the fever starts.

I'm wondering if a lot of these symptoms are also teething (he already has 8 - you'd think I would know by now!!).

In particular, who else has experienced a fever with teething and how high?

DS always gets a ever when he is teething - up to just under 100F.

Did you mention the bloody nose gunk to the ped?
