hello~
i just got my family grain mill today
im so so excited~!
one of the reasons that i got this specific mill was to make nut butters but the info sheet that came with my meat grinder attachment is kind of basic, and other than saying to soak the nuts for 24hours (i read 36 somewhere else), peel peanut skins ect..but there is very little info. i checked online and did find a few pages talking about using other plates (3mm,2mm)to make smoother nut butters and finer pastas as well, but i didn't get any other plates (did not know this at the time). i guess im just wondering if i should order some other ones, or if i can get by with what i have..and any other tips would be great.
i would like to make sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter, almond, peanut ect
thanks!
