Quick help...Plan B and breastfeeding?

Thread Starter
My DH and I dtd earlier today, then I remembered later that I was late on my pill last night. I've heard many stories of women missing their pill by an hour and getting pregnant (because it is progesterone only.) I've had 2 PP periods so I know I'm fertile (not to mention I've been pregnant two other times after 1 try), and I absolutely positively cannot get pregnant right now. Has anyone used Plan B while breastfeeding? Google says it is safe but I just want to be sure...

Worst that could happen is a temporary supply drop you would need to work through. Easy enough to get your supply back up by offering the breast just about constantly without switching to bottles. Also oats, hops tea, that sort of thing.

Plan B will have far less effect on your milk supply than getting pregnant would. The worst that can happen is a few days of lowered supply, rather than 9 months of lowered supply and possibly completely drying up.
