I start week 14 of this pregnancy tomorrow. I still haven't gotten over my morning sickness and I have a sub-chorionic hemorrhage that limits my ability to do things like heavy lifting, but I am sooo chomping at the bit to get things ready for the new babe already!

We have a modest sized home and DS will have to share a room with the baby. While we will be co-sleeping, I want to have a crib in the bedroom for naps and diaper changes. This means a LOT of re-arranging to fit furniture in the room. I also have to re-think toys and storage of toys to fit everything in the space. This also means removing DS's beloved train table...which I'm feeling a little bad about . Plus, DS and the new LO will have to share a dresser, and DS currently has enough clothes to completely fill it (thanks to my retired MIL who loves to shop )...so there is decluttering to be done too.

Our closet situation is pretty dismal in this house. It's nearly 100 years old, so we have tiny closets in the bedrooms. DS's closet was mostly my professional attire (I'm a college professor) and the master bedroom closet was mostly DH's clothes and a few of my most worn items, along with linen storage underneath. Yesterday I attacked both closets and did a pretty drastic purge of my clothes and linen's that were rarely used. I managed to free up a lot of space in both closets. I really feel good about being able to hang up two of those canvas "sweater" organizers in DS's closet. Now I have a place to store DS's sheets/blanekts as well as linens and diapers for the baby.

I'm going to wait to purge toys and DS's clothes until after Christmas, because I know there will be another onslaught of stuff from the in-laws. I can't seem to get it through their head that we don't.need.more.stuff!

Anyone else nesting? Let's support each other!
