I feel terrible. My 2-year-old's teeth started to look yellow when she was about 20 months old, and our sporadic cleaning wasn't doing the job. I tried to getr an appointment for her to see a dentist at 18 months or so, but was told that no dentist sees children under age 3... not true, but too late now. Finally got her in at almost 24 months old. Bad decay. We have an appointment to get teeth fixed on December 24th, about 3 weeks after our first visit, which I thought was pretty good. We have been better about cleaning regularly and thoroughly, but again...
Not soon enough. One of DD's badly corroded front teeth looks like it's receding. She fell yesterday, no more than a normal skinned-knee stumble, and I went in to clean it just now and it's really, really loose. Feels like it will fall out in the next day or so. I think they are really bothering her, but she has the two bottom 2-year-molars coming in, too, so it's hard to tell what's what.
So stressed out and feeling terrible.
