Nursing bras - for large chested mamas

First of all, let me apologize - I know this has been discussed before but previous threads didn't answer my questions.

I am so frustrated with bras - I am 8 mos pregnant and in a 38 G. The only nursing bras I can find are the ones that don't have separate cups - I don't like the uniboob effect and I also hate the racing back - they hurt my neck and shoulders. Any nursing bras for big chested mamas out there that have separate cups and regular over the shoulder straps? I also hate that I have to buy online, why can't they sell large bras in the store? Of course, I don't live where there are a lot of shopping opportunities but still...

Try Anita

I've replied to these posts before too- but I don't mind saying it again...

Try Anita bras. They have separate cups and regular straps with extra padding on the shoulders. Perfect for big-chested mamas. Kind of pricey but absolutely worth every penny. Nordstrom.com and Lindas.com both carry them and both have great shipping/return policies. Also, Lindas.com has an online sizing guide that will help you get the right size. I used it- didn't believe it- went in to a store to make sure- and sure enough that's the size I bought.

I am large chested as well. Just wanted to pop in and second the recommendation for Anita brand nursing bras. They are fantastic, very supportive, comfortable, and not too over the top expensive.

Also, you might want to contact your local LLL group or LC to ask if they know of any local stores that carry larger sizes in nursing bras. The LC at our hospital is actually the one who told me about a local boutique that specializes in larger size bras and lingerie. The wonderful owner nursed her own child and was fantastic! She took her time helping me find the right fit for me. Just a thought.

I agree that Breakout Bras is great. Thankfully, my area does have a local WAHM who runs a bfing shop, so I was able to try things on after baby was born. Her site is: http://www.mothersboutique.com I used the Goddess Comfort Zone nursing bra: http://www.mothersboutique.com/comfortzone.html Extremely comfortable (I am a 34J, so I know uncomfortable or not!) even during the hottest summer heat. There is a divider inside & the outside layer is indented enough that you do not look like uniboob. I will be buying them again once this peanut is born

Bare Necessities .com has the Anita bras on sale 20% off with free shipping over $50 through 12/15.

Thanks for the bra recommendations!
