Okay so I was watching Teen Moms on MTV today and there is this baby screaming in her carseat and a teen mom crying that she can't ever leave or get anything done and all I could think was, "LEARN HOW TO BABYWEAR!!!!!" It was seriously breaking my heart to see this baby screaming like crazy (nothing makes my skin crawl like screaming babies that just want to be held close) and this poor teen mom that didn't seem to have much education or support. Is there any kind of advocacy group that lets new and teen mamas know about babywearing, it's benefits and the fact that it can seriously save your sanity? I mean there are so many awesome mamas on these boards that would donate their older, gently used wraps, slings, and carriers to other mamas in need that it makes sense that something would and should be available. If these young girls knew how much happier their babies would be (and subsequently them) I'm sure they'd be willing to give it a shot, kwim? Sorry it was so distrubring to me, I'm pregnant and a tad hormonal (clearly)
