If I already have a Bachelors degree and I'm going to go back to school for an Associates am I a transfer? Do I still have to take all the basic classes?

I already have taken English, Writing, Psychology, Speech, etc but will I have to retake them?

My original college is accredited and all that good stuff.

I think this may depend on the school. They would be the best people to give you answers to what courses are mandatory and what prior coursework will qualify toward credit.

I have never heard of someone having to retake ALL of their coursework. I have a BA, and when I went to nursing school to get my AS in nursing, the only thing I had to retake was a science course that the the school had a time limit requirement on--as in, it had been more than 7 years since I had taken A&P, so I had to retake it. Everything else did NOT have to be retaken, since I had obtained a bachelors.

Hope that helps.
