books for raising healthy/strong/confident girls

Hey everyone!

I hope there's someone with some recommendations for me....

I'm looking for books that will give me some ideas of how to teach my DD to have a healthy sexual view of herself. I want her to feel empowered, confident and aware about how wonderful her body is. I didn't grow up with these skills and I am clueless of how to go about it.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

IDK how old your daughter is or how specific to sexuality you want the materials to be, but "Girls Hold Up This World" by Jada Pinkett Smith is a great book about being empowered and confident in general. It's meant for very young girls and has a read-aloud style. There's no actual mention of sex or sexuality but it does feature different body types and appearances being described as beautiful, strong, etc.

She's just new. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of what books I could read that would help me to teach my daughter to have a healthy view of sexuality.

Thanks for the one suggestion!
