DS2 has cold and nursing non-stop *help*

Just looking for a reality check here.. my DS2 is a big nurser but this feels a little over the top.. he has a head cold and fever....I am exhausted from the constant holding and nursing and we've regressed big time with night nursing to every 2 to 3 hours again !!
any words of encouragement, your experience? thx so much

Just take a deep breath, remember that he his sick and it is very likely that when he is ready to be up and bouncing around, he will go back to his "regular" nursing patterns. When kids are sick, sometimes you just have to forget about what is "normal." Be glad that he likes to nurse and is getting all your good stuff from your bm.

When they are sick they nurse more. When he starts to feel better I think you will be back to your normal routine in a few days.
