How to make ahead smoothies?

I went through a phase when I was having a berry smoothy every morning, with some yogurt, protein powder (dont remember what kind... but it was unflavored, and as "natural" HA! as I could find) and various berries, with a little drizzle of honey or agave nectar.

I know berries arent in season anymore, but i was feeling SO good when i had those to start my morning. BUT, I am SO SO tired now, I can't possibly get up any earlier to make this thing each morning.
Is there any way that I can make most of it ahead of time and still get a thick, frothy smoothy without it being all separated and gross by morning?
I'm willing to make it in the evening and put it in the fridge, but how many steps can I do in advance?

Has anyone tried this?
(I have tried making in advance and freezing, but after I added the ice and crushed it up, the mixture froze solid and didnt defrost nicely.)

Is there something other than ice that I can use to give it a nice frothy consistency? It's so chilly now, i dont know if I could do an iced smoothy in the morning!

Personally, I switch from cool drinks to warm drinks when the weather turns.

I like hot water with fresh lemon (homegrown, in season here) and a bit of local raw honey to start my day. Bone broth heated up is also good and nutritious.
