any books about parents reuniting / not getting divorced?

We are reading the Lucy Rose series and enjoying the stories very much.

Of course, I am hoping right along with Lucy Rose that her parents get back together. She wants it so much, yet is so brave about focussing on constructive aspects of her life and not letting that get her down. Still she keeps hoping. I just can't bear to think that she will have to give up that hope. But that is the lesson of the story, right? And all such stories about children whose parents break up. I don't yet know how it turns out ... I don't think the series is over, but am expecting to be let down on this count.

Are there any stories about parents who break up and then get back together?

The movie The Parent Trap is based on a book written in 1949.
Parents divorce, each "keeps" a twin. The girls coincidentally meet at camp and realize they are long lost identical twins, switch places, and get the parents back together.

I haven't read the book, but I really liked the movie when I was a kid (the earlier version).

I read the book. It's fine. I feel like the second movie actually brought back some elements from the book that had been cut from the first movie, but I might be remembering wrong.
