Fun spelling word books

Thread Starter
I have a 7yo DD, and I would like to find a fun spelling word book (or spelling pages on the web.) She likes to do word puzzles and word games - so I want to find a ready-to-go set of spelling words with some fun activities to go along with them.

I would like it ready-to-go because I have limited time to sit down and put the whole thing together myself.

Any suggestions?

We LOVE the series called "Spelling Puzzlers for Grade..." (grades 1-4) by Rigby Best Teachers' Press / Steck-vaughn. It was harder to find this year for 4th grade, but worth it.

Each 2-page spread has a group of activities and a study tip on the first page for learning a word list, then a word game puzzle on the second page. The puzzle mught be a maze thing or a crossword or a deal where they figure out a little code, or clues, etc.

My kids have totally enjoyed them. I don't think they were popular with schools though, since they're getting harder and harder to find. We originally found this at a teacher supply store; I'm sure there are similar series.

Have a great day,

Lucie
