Goodbelly Probiotics?

So a friend of mine gets on these weird dietary kicks, and she has lately gone on a kick of drinking Goodbelly shots everyday for digestive health.

Does anyone know anything about these? It is probiotics in a sweetened, thickened juice solution. I don't know why she is spending big bucks on these juice shots when all it seems like it is vegetarian probiotic capsules predisolved in this very sweet juice solution. I am not even sure that the probiotics can live in that juice.

I guess I don't care if she is wasting her money, but sometimes we get into these crunchy-offs, and she think's she's winning with these goodbelly shots. :

Actually, I heard that they work really well (from moms on a email list pertaining to chronic constipation, my lo suffered from constipation due to food intolerances). I don't use them - can't because we are gluten free and they contain barley - nor would I spend the money, but if they help her

I bought a quart. I tried it and didn't finish it. It was so sweet and sugary. I would agree with your assessment of the product (probiotics dissolved in juice). I think there are much better ways to get probiotics.

I'm sure they work great for constipation , they're practically a laxative.
