I did Jenny Craig and lost about fifteen pounds. It fit my lifestyle at the time. I was on the go, and single so I didn't really want to cook much. It was easy although a little pricey. I think I spent about 100 every week on food. That's a lot for one person. I actually liked most of the meals. All microwave food. I liked seeing my counselor every week which surprised me. I didn't think I would like reporting to a stranger how I am doing, but it did help me stay accountable. I liked the weekly weigh in because I was losing a pound or two every week. I did exercise at least four times a week so that helped.
I quit because of the money. I figured I could make the same itty bitty meals myself. The portions are very small. I gained the weight back because I went back to my regular eating habit. I can see how one could get bored because it's the same meals every week.
My friend was on the nutrisystem program. He lost too, but his meals didn't look as good as mine. And they looked even smaller. Not sure about other components of the nutrisystem program.

I am currently on Weight Watchers. So far, I've lost 16 lbs. I weigh in every week & go to the meetings & count my points. Last week was a tough week for me before Christmas & I ate a lot & didn't exercise & I did gain .2 lbs. I'm not going to cry about it though! I've been consistently losing 1-2 lbs a week & eating real food & good sized portions of healthy foods.

Lost 30lbs. It was easy as could be. Seriously, it melted off and I never really had to think about it.
Keeping it off will be the true test but, isn't it always?
I'd recommend medifast for anyone who struggles to loose weight.
