saftey studies of ingredients?

I just got back from our 2 month ped visit. We are spacing the vaccines and delaying hep b and polio. I explained that I am concerned about some of these questionable ingredients and thats why we will be spacing these out. I also said that I have had trouble finding studies on the saftey of injecting these ingredients into babies. He told me that vaccines have been through rigerous testing and each ingredient has also been tested for saftey. Really??? so I asked him to provide me with this evidence and I will revisit this at our next appointment. We will see if he sends me the info. but for now,I am curious. Anyone found studies done on any of the ingredients (aluminum, formaldehyde, ect.) that show what a "safe" amount might be? I'm having trouble finding this stuff.

(Venting) He also said I would have to go to the health department for the shots inbetween visits since it would "overwhelm the nursing staff for me to come in for nurse appointments" Time for a new doc!

Time for a new doc!
Haha...I'd love to see what he sends you. Most likely he has no idea that the ingredients have not been tested individually for use in vaccines. I've called the CDC myself to ask them to produce these studies...they claim they don't exist (but that vaccines are still very, very safe )

Wait till he goes looking and finds out that the research points to the neuro-toxicity and cancer-causing properties of vaccine ingredients. I wonder what he will send you...?

My guess:

To which you can reply...Dr. Dear, I need published studies, not propaganda!

that what I thought. he did send me home with some cdc handouts on why we should vaccinate, after I told him that all I could find was groups like the cdc telling me that its perfectly safe to give multiple vaccines at once ect. with no refrences for evidence of this saftey. His reply to all of this was something to the effect of we doctors would never recommend something that we wouldn't do for our own children, blah blah blah. Then the nurse wasn't comfortable with me nursing her during the shot because "she might choke". I had to fight back tears when my baby (who rarely cries) started screaming. Sorry, more venting.

So sorry to hear about the nurse who would not let you nurse during the shots .

My doc thought I was from another planet when I told him what I was going to do. He was concerned I would loose a nipple . But he went with it, and everyone was pleasantly surprised at how easy the shots went.
