French for 1st grade?

Thread Starter
We had been doing Latin, but for various reasons it's a flop. DD1 is still very interested in learning a foreign language, and I am fluent in French, so this should be better.
I'm interested in Lili, la petite grenouille, or Petit Pont. I'm also looking at Le Francais Facile. Anyone used any of these? Used something else?
I'm not interested in a light intro- more a jumping off point in introducing and then working towards fluency.

if your fluent might i suggest starting with games / songs and such? they are fun and easy to remember.... start with ones your LO already knows in english but do them in french then do similar ones which are less known in english.
