PPHN....how can I help/support family

Thread Starter
My dear friend's baby was born early in Dec and has a diagnosis of PPHN. I do not want to post details as it is not my story to share. But I really was just wondering how to offer support. We live in different countries, so it is quite hard but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thoughts and prayers for her little one greatly appreciated.

I don't think there's much you can do from far away, or even near. I couldn't help my daughter who had severe PPHN but is now a healthy 5 year old. Just be available to support her, send her a card or a baby gift...

I agree - I can't think of much you can do from far away. Really the only help I needed was someone to watch my elder DD and keep her happy while I was at the hospital all day. All I wanted at the time was to have my baby home. A card and/or gift would be nice to show her you care, and letting her know that her baby is in your prayers is also encouraging. Best wishes for your friend and her baby...
