student mamas- how'd you do on finals?

It's over until January, and I just got my grades for the quarter- all A's! Woot! What a relief! How did everyone else do?

I still have two more finals (that are due tomorrow, including an essay I haven't even started to think about). ugh.

You got your grades back already? Our semesters go until the second week of December here so I just wrote my exams at the end of last week. I think I should know by the end of December. I don't really know how I did. I only do two courses because I am on disability status but this semester I was quite ill so I don't think I did as well as I would have liked. I am just hoping not to pulll down my GPA to badly!

I had 15 hours and made all As (A+ in statistics!). We haven't officially received our grades, but I keep track of all my points in each class, so I always know exactly what my grades are. I only had two finals, both of which I've received the grades for already.

Two As. One of the As was in Precalc, and math is my least favorite class and this is my first math class in 10 years, so this is one that I am quite proud of. I worked pretty hard for that A.

I hope I can keep this up through next semester - 17 credits of math and science.

3 A's, 1 S, and 1 B-. I only had 12 hours this semester and I made a B- in the easiest class I have taken to date.

I can't wait until Spring 2010!!!!

For the first time i failed my classes. I maintained a 3.5 until this semester. All the court stuff overwhelmed me and got in the way of being able to keep my focus. Missed my finals this week because court ran over and took 2 days instead of one. I can't think about it right now.

Avani, I'm sorry you had so much trouble this semester

I live in fear of having a similar situation happen over here. It's what you live with when you are a student and a single parent, it seems. Even one missed week can cause everything to smowball. Still, I think your overall record shows your abilities even with one disastrous semester.

Holding my breath...I should see them tomorrow. I think I got 2 A's, a 2 B's, and a D...I'm really scared that I might not have passed that class though, it was a HARD class and the instructor was really harsh and unwilling to let me make up missed in class work (I missed classes because my kids were sick and I had a job interview one day)..arghh...I only know one person that passed his class the first time through.

My online final doesn't "open" until Dec. 30. I wish it was over.

Having said that, it's pass/fail and I'm not worried -- just annoyed at the timing.

I would think so...this man has been working for the school for something like 20 years though..used to be the swim coach. I am planning to say something now that the semester is over, but not sure it will do any good. On the other hand I DID pass his class! I think he might respect me some because I challenged him all semester. Every time I got a test back, and in front of the whole class. I knew it was risky, but, I felt like the other younger students were afraid to speak up.

C+ in government because I didn't have the correct study sheet and had a baby the week before finals. B in philosophy though. I will be taking gov't over though.
