I've started taking baths with my son, since he doesn't fit into the sink anymore and it's just easier than leaning over the tub. And I love it!
We sing and cuddle, and such. But whenever he realizes that, "hey! There's nipple RIGHT THERE!" he will try to latch on and nurse.
I have no problem with him nursing in the tub, I'm just worried about our position. I lean back and he lays on top of me, except he doesn't really push himself up with his arms. I use my arms under his armpits and kind of support him for nursing. I don't think this is really comfortable for him, plus it makes his wee butt get cold.
Does anyone else nurse in the tub? What positions do you use? He's a heavy baby, so it's hard to do cradle hold without a pillow or something to help.
