Silly question, I know, but anyone else wonder this? My 4 mo makes such intense eye contact with me, and I always wonder what he is thinking on those rare occasions when I am wearing my very dark, thick-rimmed glasses. My lenses are so thick they make my eyeballs appear tiny. It must look so strange to him!
Anyone have any thoughts on what age babies start to recognize your face and if it's complicated at all by glasses?
(I should note -- he seems to smile at me equal amounts whether I'm wearing glasses or not. With strangers he just stares and doesn't smile too much ...)

He laughs and laughs! So yes I think your baby recognizes you, but also notices there is something different.
