Ideas for a First Birthday Party menu?

I need inspiration. We'll have about 25 people, a mix of adults and kids. We don't do dairy, but I can adapt most things (unless the focus is cheese). The party is at noon, so lunch stuff or even finger foods would work. What should I serve?

We had a big bbq for my son's first birthday. I'm not sure if that would apply since it is december, but I'll share what we served.

Pulled pork with coleslaw and bake beans
Hamburgers, hotdogs, and sausage
Potato salad, pasta salad, and my parents made a good sea food salad
Fruit platter
Veggie tray with dip and hummus
Bread and cheese plate

Marble cake with cream cheese frosting and pomegranate raspberry filling. DS was so funny. It was the first time he had anything sweet. He barely touched the cake, and went straight for the raspberries on top! Thats my boy!

We just had a Christmas party this past weekend and did a huge pot roast with roasted veggies. Everyone was so pleased with it and the great thing about doing something like a roast, pulled pork, etc. is it is cheap, but delicious. We have alot of meat eaters, so it is worth it for us.

Pretzel rods, French fries, sandwiches cut in attractive shapes are great finger food. You can serve pizza, and pasta for food.

SlidersĀ

Build-your-own panini sandwiches or subs

Fruit kebabs

Cupcakes instead of one big cake (easier to eat without cutlery)
