Why I wish she could talk, #9489

I thought she had to pee. So I went ahead and left her on the potty since she can get up when she's done no problem. She then carefully brought me a potty filled with poop.

Oops.

Would've been a lot better for her to just *tell* me about it. Hence, yet another reason I wish she could talk.

Way cool she's using the potty at all!

Very frustrating when you know a child has complex understanding capabilities but simply isn't talking. William spoke full sentences for a month when he first learned to talk shy of 1yo, then his older sister completely overshadowed him and began talking for him. He didn't really speak again until 2 and then again complete sentences.

It is so awesome that kidlet is potty learning though. Yay! Kidlet will start chatting it up soon enough! He was PL'd at 18 months though, so I knew there wasn't something wrong with him, but I was desperate for something other than "NOOOO!" or his "positive grunt for yes" approaching 2 yo.
