So thankful

I just wanted to say, that I am so thankful I still nurse my almost 2 y/o. There have been times I've thought of quitting. Like when he would marathon nurse. Or when we've had latch issues. But today I was reminded of one of the great things about nursing. I was supposed to ring bells for the salvation army today with my kids, but due to a carseat mix up (it was left in DH's car) I can't drive there and it's too far to walk. I felt so stressed and upset until I sat down with ds and started nursing. It's amazing how nursing can affect (effect?? I can never remember) us.

I feel exactly the same way.
I work outside the home and my time snuggling and nursing my 16-month-old in bed in the morning is the highlight of my day We've had so many struggles in our nursing journey together but it's so wonderful now.
Aren't we lucky?

I love these stories! I was enjoying some nursing sweetness a bit ago. I've had times when I wish we weren't nursing, but I also glad we still are. (20 months.)
