`Are Usborne book of World History and Usborne internet linked encyclopedia pretty much the same?

And Kingfisher Illustrated History of the World and Kingfisher History Encyclopedia?

If I had one Usborne and one Kingfisher, would that be fine or should I get all 4?

Thanks!

You actually probably only need one. The Usborne Internet-Linked Encyclopedia of World History will be our main history encyclopedia of this type. People say it's more for the younger grades, while the Kingfisher is more for the Logic stage (grades 5-9). We have both, and using both would be overkill, so we're sticking with the Usborne one for my 5 year old.

You would want the Usborne Internet-Linked one, that is the one most people use I think. Well, it's the one I see used in most history curriculums anyway.

Back when I researched the Kingfisher books, I just got the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia because it seemed the most recently updated. (2004 vs 1993)

If needed, I can photograph two page spreads out of the Usborne and Kingfisher books that cover the same topic. I have it all laid out in front of me anyway, I'm fleshing out our history curriculum this week.

I will get the one you suggested.
