Any signs of labor yet? - Page 2

Not sure, don't think so, we just got checked yesterday no dilation and the cervix is still hard! haha

I don't believe the baby has dropped yet, although I do have stronger pelvic pressure.

Strong movements. LOTS of braxton hicks whenever I freakin move.

I have I think an increase discharge though, cause its like real thick - hope thats normal!

Oh and I am 37w & a couple days along

I'm due at the end of January, so not really hoping for signs yet. Buutt... my cervix is soft and dilated 1 cm (I think, slightly more than a fingertip). I get BH contractions if I think too hard about, haha. What I mean is, I get them all.the.time.

Ok fine - I will play

Babe has dropped
Af cramping ALL THE TIME
Contractions that really get into my hips and back starting about 2 p.m. and continuing through the night - they occur about every 4 - 10 minutes
Really really Nauseous (Its worse than the 1st trimester!)
Had lots of pelvic floor pressure this morning
decreased movement
Discharge has actually discharged (go figure)
And no idea on dialation - we don't check

I will be 37 weeks on sunday - I have to keep reminding myself that I am still only 36 weeks

The baby as dropped. He is very low, I fell him press on my cervix often. He as hickups right now and it's like he was hickuping in my vagina .
Didn't get checked and not planning to before labor, but midwife seem to think that his head was well engaged.
I have more thick mucus discharge, not sure if it could be related to the lost of mucus plug...
Not so many BH, I would even say less then when I was still working.

It's my fisrt so I don't really know what to expect. But yesterday I was feeling so close I said to my man I don't think I'll make it to Christmas. Today I don't know, I imagine it could be like this for many days.

Anyway, I'm fully ready now. I have all my supplies. I could not fit one more yhing in the freezer and the house is pretty clean.

Baby A has dropped.

Lots of pressure down below.

Increase in mucus although I haven't lost a clear plug yet.

Just hoping to make it to 37 weeks!

So my midwife doesn't do internals until 40 weeks or you have pre-term labor. But the other night I couldn't resist checking my own cervix and I was shocked I was a little more than 2 finger tips dilated and I could feel her head. It kind of freaked me out. But I am excited she is so close.

Lets see, yesterday I had OB check my cervix for scar tissue since I had a leep and I was very soft and 2.5 cm dilated with no scar tissue to be felt! I was very happy about that since manually breaking it up during labor doesn't sound like fun. My last labor it took me 7 hours to go from 0-2 so I am thankful to already be past that!
Been having lots of discharge including some "chunks" for the past few weeks.
Bh many times a day (although that isn't new)!
The best thing of all is that baby turned from breech to head down last week and seems to now be engaged and no longer flipping! I really thought she was going to stay breech so I am sooo happy for that.

I am really hoping to stay pregnant for at least 2 more weeks. I need to make it through Christmas and get a few more things done! I told dh last night I was sooo ready for the baby and now I think I am getting "cold feet." lol

Yesterday I was standing in the kitchen and got a BH's and I seriously thought he was trying to come out of my bum. I had to lean forward with my hands on my knees to try to deal with the pressure.

And then I was pooping (TMI, I know) and if I pushed I could feel the baby sliding down and putting even more pressure on my cervix.

This is very weird..... 6 weeks left!

Nope nothing. This has been such an easy pregnancy and I still feel so comfortable. I feel like I'm more like 25 weeks than 35. Last time around I was pretty miserable toward the end so this is such a nice change for me.

I am so scared to try and check myself just out of fear of doing something. I will check and see what is going on after Christmas because then I will be REALLY ready to have the baby.

Yea, even though I know dilation, by itself, is no real indicator of where you are in regards to going into labor...i would love to know. If I could check myself I would. However it's really awkward when I ask my DH to do it, so I'll pass this time. LOL.

I'm having lots and lots of gas and needing to "go". WEIRD. Anyone else having more than normal pressures like that?

Me! But I'm also constipated which just makes it frustrating. The cervical twinges are increasing and my belly obviously changed shape overnight. I was sure she had dropped but I wonder if she's engaged now because I have gone from being so out to being really long up and down. Very funny.

I am looking but not finding much.

I've got 4-5 weeks before my due date, but I am having LOTS and LOTS of BH (I walk soooo slowly these days), shooting pains in my cervix, lots of mucus. Baby is still really high though, and flips around between breech and transverse. Oh, and when I poop I feel pressure-- it's making me nervous! I've been upping my water and fiber intake because the poop thing is totally stressing me out.

I am NOT ready to have this baby; I have no place to put the baby's clothes yet (trip to Ikea planned after Christmas), the crib is not set up, the clothes aren't washed, no diapers bought, no food prepared, NOTHING! Oh, and DH is having knee surgery tomorrow, to top off the joy.

Actually, I did buy baby a coming-home-from-the-hospital outfit, but that's it.

I'm trying (and failing) not to feel panicky.

I don't think I am near labour, I think I'm more symptomatic of late pregnancy, but lots and lots and lots, so many BH. Whenever I change positions I have some, and they generally come with AF cramping. If the babe is moving a lot I get them, if I'm not reclining or sitting so that my uterus is not scrunched I get them. I have them a lot. I think I said that.
I can't tell if he's dropped, I feel like he's lower, but I can't tell. Trixie never dropped so I don't know what it feels like. But I feel full of baby, fuller than when I was overdue with her.

I am starting to have more painful contractions - even on the procardia - contractions I have to breathe through and that don't go away when I move or lay down. Good thing they aren't regular or I'd think I was in labor.

With switching to a new midwife so late in the game I actually did have a cervical check last week and everything was still closed tight and thick. I think the baby has dropped a bit lower b/c I'm starting to get a lot of the pubic symphis pain that I've somehow (mostly) avoided up until this point. A few BH here and there, but nothing major! I'm very torn on whether or not I hope this baby comes early. It would be wonderful to not be pregnant for almost 42 weeks like I was with my last babe, but I have a lot of other reasons that going late again would be just great with me! So, for now I'm thankful there are no signs of labor LOL

I am almost 36 weeks and he has been low for awhile I don't know if he is engaged. He is moving around less. The last two mornings I've had bh's with extra discharge and that peeked my attention because I haven't had any bh's unless I was dehydrated, which only happened early on until I figured out what was causing them. My daughter came at 37 weeks and by one ultrasound I am a week further along than my EDD that my midwife is going by, so I am getting ansty. My midwife hasn't done any cervical check and I am not doing them either because of concern about avoiding any chance of strep b this time. I really have no clue. He could come soon or not til the end of January! I didn't have any symptoms with my daughter other than a few bh's a week before.

Spotting this morning, and crampy. I'm not ready! I'm not ready! Stay put until after the holidays, baby, you don't want a Christmastime birthday!
