A week over... induction help. - Page 2

you can do it! DS was born at 41w5d in a birth center, perfectly healthy. I'm very glad we waited and let him come naturally (of course, lots of sex and walking and RRL tea were added into the mix). Remember all the advice given by the PP ... and if rescheduling and avoiding the doctor can be done, why not? You don't need to be confrontational. Just do what's best for you and your baby.

AS PP mentioned before, do lots of walking, try acupuncture and hold your ground.

I always get suspicious of Dr.s when holidays come up.... I mean in one more week it would be... Christmas. So if he celebrates ... Just a thought.
I went 11 days "over" my due date, 3cm, 100% effaced and all that. I did ask my Dr. to strip my membranes because I was sooooooo excited about the baby coming that I didn't sleep for like 3 days of the prodromal (sp???) labor.
I was ready enough that that got me really going.

Although... No one told me it would hurt.

Also on the note of your Dr. I always find it interesting that if you were to tell a guy no, in a dating situation and he kept pestering you he would be a creep. If a Dr. keeps pestering you after giving you all the information and you say no, what does that make him?
