Duloxetine:

Hale says there are data in his 2008 book - I don't have a copy.

And Pregabalin

"No data yet on Lyrica (pregabalin). I'm a little concerned due to its chemistry that milk levels could be moderately high...but I don't know this for sure.
I recommend caution. "

(that was 2008)

Have they given you any other options?

No other alternatives mentioned. I have already tried various codeine mixes, various antidepressants, morphine, tramadol etc.

I have fibromyalgia, Ehler Danlos Syndrome and osteoarthritis (the list keeps getting longer, never mind the vulval vestibulitis, IBS and whatever else).

These were the last things suggested to me due to my sleep issues and pain issues thanks to the fibro and EDS.

The links I gave are to Dr. Hale's forum. If your health care provider has questions he is really good about answering them. Hopefully someone will post the 2008 book info for Duloxetine, and there may be more info about Pregabalin if your health care provider contacts him directly - and especially mentions that you are nursing a 13 month old.

Good luck!

2008 p 321 - Duloxetine = L3.

Pediatric concerns: Milk levels in one study (6 mothers) are low and the relative infant dose is low. Some caution is recommended.

No more info on Pregabalin.

I'd be happy to send you the full entries, if that would help. Just pm me with an e-mail address.
