Who has their period back?

I'm 3 months PP and exclusively breastfeeding (plus pumping a couple of times a day!), and last night I started bleeding! Do I really have my period back? Anyone else?

*raises hand* I got mine 6 weeks PP. I had to stop breastfeeding at 3 weeks due to an infection however. That was one thing I was looking forward to, was lack of period On the other side, I am 5 days late, so I am praying, I actually get it now haha! I really do not want another baby this soon!

I thought I got mine back at 7 weeks pp but now I'm 13 weeks and haven't gotten it again. I took a pregnancy test just in case and it was negative (I knew it would be!) so who knows.

I got it back at 6 weeks and about 10 weeks with my other 2 though so you could definitely have your period.

I got mine - but my cycles are still way wacky! I got it today - and 43 days ago. Just takes time for our bodies, I guess. I don't think I ever did ovulate...I had 3 times when my body was trying to O - but I'd put money on I never did.

I stopped BF at 2 1/2 weeks and I still don't have it (he's 12 weeks now). I was going to come here and ask the same thing. Guess I need to go POAS.

I might... I had light bleeding for 2 days several weeks ago, maybe 6 or 7 weeks pp. Then last night I started bleeding again. It's definitely not like my normal periods, though, so I'm not sure if they "real"... :s::

Haven't been here in a long time (blush!), but came this morning to ask the same thing! With my others, I didn't start bleeding until they were on mostly solid foods, so I'm shocked to be EBFing and start bleeding today!

nothing here. Cora is nearly 17 weeks now and exclusively bf'd.

Not yet, but since babies #1 and #2, when AF returned at 3 and 6 mos. PP (and although both were bfed, they were both my earliest preemies -- 33 and 31 wkrs. -- so I think that had something to do with it), I haven't gotten AF back until at least 13 mos. PP. We'll see with Duncan, but since we're done having babies, as far as I'm concerned, she can stay away as long as she wants, lol!

Personally, not having AF is one of my *favorite* parts of being pg and bfing , and I wish there were a way to have that be the case ALL the time (other than pg, which I'm not doing again, or menopause, which I'm still years away from. ) I'm not a friend of AF, that's for sure!
