My son has itchy eczema that we're working on fixing. In the meantime, i have noticed that he scratches and rubs his itches whenever he has to go to the bathroom.
Also, when he's nursing if he's also rubbing and scratching he will poop when he gets done nursing. Just thought I'd share!
