We don't know if it is a girl or boy, but these are our choices:

Sietske Aloya (girl)
Theo William (boy)

My sister made me second guess my girl's name because our last name is a long foreign three-syllable one which starts with a Si, making her "Sietske Si____-____." But I think it's cute. Reassurances?

Of course, the same sister scuttled my previous name choice, which was "Aloya Elise." She said, immediately, in a Boston accent: "You're going to name your kid Aloya Elise? Aloya Elise you an apahtment, but he'll chahge you an ahm and a leg."

Sheesh, and I thought it was nice.

We don't have a name picked yet. We have three names we like and we're hoping she looks like one of them when she's born. None of them feel "right" to me though.

Yes, I think so?? Maybe??

Julian Oliver Rilke
Or maybe
Oliver Rilke
Or maybe
Julian Oliver

and that's if we're having a boy... which we supposedly are... but sometimes I wonder...

So, if we're having a girl after all

Julcia Valentine
(first after my great grandma, middle after my mom)

(Girls names have always been easiest for me)

I never weighed in on your name thread, but I really love all three of those names. I'm partial to Oliver Rilke--because I love Mary Oliver, and then he'll be named after both the feminine and masculine side of the poetic genius!

Uh, I'm in such a panic! We're having another girl and dh and I cannot agree on even one name. There are so few names either of us like, let alone both of us. One of us is going to have to cave. For example, he loves Audrey, I love Camryn. See what I mean?? How could two names be more different??? This is our last child - we're not having any more. I think that makes it harder somehow.

AAAHHHHH!!!! We're going to have to see what she looks like when she emerges, I think.

Well, when I found out I was pregnant, we all just "knew" it was a girl-so thats all we looked for was girl names. We finally settled on one, but then the day came to have an ultrasound done and while originally we were not going to find out the sex, we just couldnt help ourselves and when the ultrasound tech said "its a boy" our mouths dropped. I couldn't believe it. I just had it stuck in my head that I was having girl so for awhile after I found out I was having a boy, we still couldnt decide on a boy name, but one day it just came to us! I thought of the first name and my husband came up with the middle name and so our little one will be called "Rowan Briar". And I dont think we could have picked a more awesome name!!

Haven't decided yet either. Most likely Halim

My 3.5 yo has been calling baby Halim because we think it's a boy, but I am undecided on it. And when you say anything else he says " NO the baby's name is Halim" so it is kinda sticking. Which I knew would happen if we told him the names, because the same thing happened when my mom got a dog. She originally named it Pepper, but then changed it to Maggie Mae- my son said the same thing "No~ Pepper"

I like the name Aziz too

And if it's a girl- Naima, but that means tranquil, so even that would have to wait until we see how "tranquil" the babe is. Or maybe she would grow into her name...

If this babe comes out a girl we are gonna be in deep trouble, I am sure my son would be really confused then. But he may not put two and two together if we decide right away. Plus I would have to find all my dd's old clothes and wash em.

We have our choices limited down, but nothing in stone yet other than the middle name.

It will either be Elliott (my fav), Logan (DH fav), Alexander (DD fav she's 2), or Kian (possible front runner that we all like.) The middle name will be Wilson, which is a family name.

Our son will be named Isaac Donovan. I just love it.

No, not 100%, anyway. I'm so happy there are others out there like us.

Lovisa Sanna, we have been calling her Lovisa for months (Lollo for a nickname) so she will probably look like a Lovisa because that is just what we are expecting I guess. No one can pronounce it right though so that is going to take some getting used to - and its really simple I think. And she will likely have more nicknames - DS wants to nickname her Low-low and MIL has called her Lolly a couple times. I have a Scandinavian last name so I am thinking the name will go with it perfectly. I have had two US techs call her a definite girl so if its a boy, I will likely faint in surprise.

No, no & nope

We do know that if we have a girl the middle name will be Elizabeth.

My 2 year old DS is calling the baby CornHolio (name given by DH--from Beavis & Butthead???)

I love all the names everyone has picked out.. alot of non-traditional ones which I think is great (being a Kim, there was always at least one other Kim in my class growing up.. hated it!).

I think we may be decided but I'm not too sure. I really like the name Milo for a boy but I have a feeling that this baby is a girl so we're thinking Yemaya (Maya for short) but have no ideas on middle names yet.
