It was a great article. So good to see CNN cover something like this. But, I agree that I'm not sure how well it will change people's minds. The comments were very disheartening, to say the least. It is so sad to see how people in America view childbirth. Like GoestoShow said, hopefully, it will open up some eyes...

I was going to post this earlier but was afraid of getting my hand slapped, lol.

I am glad the story is there. I think some people (mainstream) will stick to their thinking, but if it helps even one person open their mind to this possibility, then that is wonderful.

I think that was a pretty good article. I'm glad they followed up on that. I remember hearing about it a month or so ago. Good for her.

If I remember, it was such a story b/c she had one or two successful vbac's at the same hospital before the policy changed. Such bs.

I read the article earlier and was surprised to see that the OB who did my last c-section was quoted and is vbac friendly (not surprised that he's vbac friendly, cuz he's at the most vbac friendly hospital around here, just surprised that he was in that article lol).

The comments for the article were crazy weird. I guess I just don't do a lot of interacting with mainstream thinking women regarding VBACs. It seems to me like anyone would be really happy for someone who got to have a VBAC against the odds.

Well, I am happy for her. What a great triumph.
