total newbie questions

So if I am making pocket diapers I can use really any fabric that is super cute on the outside as long as I use PUL in between it and the fleece inner part. Right?

Also are there any other waterproof fabrics I can use instead of PUL?

i just made pul topped with cotton (not a pocket) with FOE and i havent tried it yet but i thik it will work. if you are planning to turn it, i dont htink its a good ide because the edge of the cotton outer will be in the pucket on the inside and will wick. also, use polyester thread, not cotton, for the same reason.
