What's your LO's Nap/Sleep times like? - Page 2

My DDs have never had naps or schedules. I know some children naturally fall into them and some parents have success getting their children on them . . .not the case here!

My 5 week old sleeps a LOT during the day (more than any other child I've had at this age) but always in my arms or wrap. At night, she sleeps on me. She wakes several times but usually goes right back to sleep. The best part for me is, she can actually go to sleep WITHOUT nursing. She'll nurse, unlatch, get quiet, then SLEEP!

For those of you with babies like mine, I cannot recommend enough learning how to back carry with a baby at this age. I feel like I have my life back since I put her on my back! With my 2nd, I waited until about 5 months, but learned early with #3.

I use a BWCC with a chest belt. I put her up higher, though. This is how I get DD on.

Lol, I watched the video, and I thought it was a real baby! It looks like a fun way to carry around your little one.

She sleeps a lot during the day, but at bedtime she gets restless and frenetic and will only settle down on my chest. Which is just really bad for my sleep, so I'm looking for another solution. In general she sleeps much better on her tummy than on her back, but I am paranoid about SIDS.

Oh I would LOVE to put Brenan on my back but he is SO spitty, OMG. He drenches everything he touches in spit-up, sometimes bringing back entire feedings. It's nasty and Zantac isn't helping with his reflux OR his misery. I can't imagine dealing with the constant mess while he was on my back. So bummed. I hope he outgrows it. Soon.

I know-- does look real! I think it's so cool that it's a GUY demo-ing it, too.
